SAFETY ENGINEERING

Competency: The graduates should be able to design, analyze, and apply appropriate workplace safety systems and safety standards in the fields of engineering, health, and work environment. Besides academic diplomas, the graduates are also equipped with a Certificate of Experts General K3 through particular competency test.

DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE ENGINEERING

Competency: The graduates should be able to carry out the design, inspection, and control over the metal manufacturing process with CNC programs, as well as having entrepreneurial spirit in that field. Besides the academic diploma, graduates are also equipped with a certificate of operator CAD-2D, CAD-3D, and CNC through particular competency test.

SHIPBUILDING ENGINEERING

Competency: The graduates should be able to operate andsupervisein the field ofproduction technology, ship repair, and related field, as well as having entrepreneurial spirit in that field. Besides the academic diploma, graduates are also equipped with a certificate of welding supervisor, ultrasonic testing, and penetrant test through particular competency test.

SHIP DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERNG

Competency: The graduates should be able to operate and supervise in the field of ship design technology, and related field, as well as having entrepreneurial spirit in that field. Besides the academic diploma, the graduates are also equipped with a certificate of operator CAD-2D, and CAD-3D through particular competency test.

WELDING ENGINEERING

 Competency:The graduates should be able to master the welding code, welding procedure and welding qualification. The graduates also should beable to act as a welding inspector in the welding process and testing ofDT/NDT, and have the entrepreneurial spirit in that field. Besides the academic diploma, the graduates are also equipped with Welding Inspector Certification through particular competency test.

PIPING ENGINEERING

Competency:  The graduates should be competent in planning installation of piping systems both at the sea and on the land, including the work of the LNG Plant, Petrochemical Plant, Fertilizer Plant, Geothermal Plant, Gas Plant and cooling system.

The graduates also should be able to carry out technical inspections, treatments, drawing of piping design, technical fabrication and control system of piping network, compliance with global standards in various industrial sectors.Besides the academic diploma, the graduates are also equipped with certificate of Welding Inspector through particular competency test.

MARINE ENGINEERING

Competency:  The graduates should be able to design ship propulsion system, engine room layout, ship piping system, ship support system, and Pneumatic – Hydraulic control system, HVAC System.  They also should be able to carry out maintenance and repair of motor fuel in internal combustion and external combustion, Heating Ventilating Air Condition (HVAC), Pump and Compressor. The graduates also should be able to do the manufacturing process and fabrication in CAD-CAM and production machinery.

AUTOMATION ENGINEERING

Competency: The graduates should be able to plan and design automation systems both in marine field and other industry; design a process monitoring system with HMI (Human Machine Interface), build SCADA system (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and skilled in PLC programming (Programmable Logic Controller). Besides the academic diploma, graduates are also equipped witha certificate of experts in PLC through particular competency test.

MARINE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

Competency: The graduates should be able to plan implement and repair the electrical systems, electrical protection, and electronic control systems both in marine field and related industries, compliance with application of safety standards. Besides academic degree, graduates are also equipped with a certificate expert in electrical installation and electronics through particular competency test.

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

Competency: The graduates are able to run a business both micro and macro and are able to innovate in business practices. Graduates are also provided with basic knowledge about engineering so that they can propose a solution in producing appropriate technology for the community.

Career Outlook: administrators/managers in shipping, shipbuilding, logistics, sea transportation, export and import, and other industries. Graduates are fostered to become entrepreneurs, especially in the maritime sector.

WASTE TREATMENT ENGINEERING

Competency: Graduates are able to analyze waste pollution in water, soil and air. They are able to design detailed-design of waste treatment installations and make decisions in the application of waste pollution control technology and be able to manage projects and operationalize maintenance by considering technical and economic aspects. Graduates will also get expert certificate of K3 B3.

Career Outlook: Supervisor / manager in bag. Waste treatment, contractors, waste treatment consultants
